Rush is stressful. Countless hours are put into hair and makeup, and even more time is spent awkwardly waiting in line to try to make people like you. It’s completely worth it in the end, but it comes with its own challenges. Running across campus, barefoot, on the scalding pavement to get to the next house without looking like a sweaty disaster should be a new event at the 2020 Olympics. Fortunately Michael Scott and the rest of the gang at Dunder Mifflin understand what we went through.
1. When you hear the cheers going into your very first round
Nothing gets you hyped up like running into a room full of girls chanting and stomping in perfect sync.
2. When you meet a sister you immediately connect with
She also cried over that dog movie trailer and shares your love for tacos. New best friend.
3. When you have back-to-back rounds and have to get across campus ASAP
My feet are burning and I'm ~glistening~ but hey, I made it.
4. It's worth it though when you get invited back to the next round
One step closer to sisterhood.
5. "Tell me about yourself"
6. When you want to ask a question but your brain is fried
I promise I actually want to get to know you.
7. When you see your friends made it back to the same round as you
8. It’s nearing the end of the day and you want to be positive but also really want a nap
I've never missed my bed this much before.
9. It all pays off when you see your bid!!
Hundreds of new sisters!!!
