Saturday Night Live is known for making light of American culture in every way possible. One way it does that is through political skits that never fail to have viewers doubling over laughing. Making waves with Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin in 2008, SNL hasn't stopped its brilliant political farce since. This year has been no exception. With Donald Trump's surprising candidacy and Bernie Sanders' underdog status, the 2016 election season has been an interesting one to say the least.

Here are 9 times that Saturday Night Live captured the uniqueness and hilarity of the 2016 race for the presidency:

1. When Hillary Clinton Met… Hillary Clinton

"Yassss queen!"

2. The GOP Debate

“Today, in our great country, one out of every three babies born are already in ISIS.”

3. The Other GOP Debate

"I'm the only one up here with a chin."

4. Donald and Melania Trump Greet America

"I'm not smart like Donald, I didn't go to Hogwarts School of Business."

5. The Democratic Debate

"I own one pair of underwear, that's it!"

6. Will Ferrell as George W. Bush

"We tried tiny leprechaun internment camps in the late 1920s, and as you all know, it totally back-fired."

7. Hillary Clinton Meets Herself... Sort Of

"I have a one-year-old granddaughter. She calls me Madam President."

8. Hillary Clinton Makes Her Own Election Video

Bill Clinton: “Hillary, isn’t it great that phones can take video now? I mean, if they would’ve done that in the ‘90s, I’d be in jail.”

And, last but not least...

9. Trump Gets Endorsed by Sarah Palin

"I hope nobody's allergic to nuts, 'cause we got a big one here."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
