9 Things My Best Friend Needs To Hear

The day I met my bestfriend would change my life. I've never met someone so similar, but different as me. Having a bestfriend like you meant that I always had someone to count on when things got bad, when I made bad life decisions, when I wanted to make an ice cream run late at night, movie night partner whenever, food dates, random road trip partner, and most of all someone I could tell all my secrets to. You have done so much for me and I will always appreciate everything you do for me. I always hate to see you so down and feeling like you're not good enough, so here is nine things you absolutely need to hear.

1. You are beautiful

I know that sometimes you may forget and may not hear it enough, but you are beautiful inside and out and don't let anyone make you believe otherwise.

2.Guys come and go but my friendship is forever

Guys may come in and out of our lives, but I promise you no matter how much we fight, I will always be only a call away. I will never neglect you or put you on the back burner for any guy.

3. When you feel alone just call

Even at two a.m. when you are crying yourself to sleep, don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and call. I will be there to wipe away your tears and tell you everything will be okay, even if I don’t know when.

4.Don’t second guess yourself

Always follow your gut feeling and be okay with the decision you make and the outcomes you can not change

5.Believe in your dreams like I believe in you

Regardless of how small or big they are believe in yourself and dive into you're dreams head first. You are going to do great things in life I just know it.

6.You are stronger than you think

Some days it may feel like you're world is falling apart and you feel like giving up and giving into your negative thoughts, don't! I promise you that you are a strong women and can overcome anything you put you're mind to. You just have to think happy thoughts and do everything in your power to think of the glass half full.

7.Text me whenever you want to text “him”

Even if I am terrible at texting, I will always text you back to keep your mind from wondering back to him, regardless of the time of day .

8.You are fixable

Some guy may have broken your heart beyond repair, but I promise you that you are fixable. One day you will wake super happy, and not even have to be reminded of what that jerk did to you.

9. I will support you ,like you support me

I will always be your number 1 fan, even if I think what you're doing crazy. I will be in the front row of every event you do and will always share your artwork with the world

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
