9 Things I Noticed About CollegeĀ  Fashion
Amelia Thomas

No matter where you go, every University will have different outfits unique to that area. These are some fashions choices that seem to be the most popular.

1. Girls wear the "uniform"

We all know what this is: nike shorts, large tshirt, and either chacos or adidas tennis shoes.

2. You either look like you just rolled out of bed, or you are ready to walk down the runway.

There is really no in between

3. Boys also have a "uniform"

A polo and light wash jeans with boots. *insert eye roll here*

4. The girl that wears mom jeans everyday

Is she a mom? Is she a hipster? Is she both? The world may never know.

5. Football players

They are ALWAYS decked out in full Adidas (iykyk)

6. The pledge

The sad, tired, young freshman wearing khakis, a white button down, a navy blazer, and a frat tie.

7. The "uniform" cold weather edition

The lulu leggings, the over sized t shirt, and of course the either srat/frat sweatshirt. *insert communal eye roll here*

8. The super involved student

They wear a different school provided collared shirt everyday. Ranges from an ambassador to a road runner and everything in between.

9. The "I just had an interview" but like everyday

The guy/gal that shows up to class in a full on suit. Honestly good for you sis go get that bread.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
