You know that awesome moment when you're spinning away on the dance floor, all eyes on you, and you just blow everyone away with your sweet dance moves? Yeah -- neither do I. Dancing is a skill that many people take for granted. They just don't understand the struggles that we "dance challenged" people go through. Here are a few examples of the struggles that every awkward dancer knows to be true:
1. Not being quite sure what to do when music comes on.
You usually end up trying to mimic what the person across from you is doing.
2. Being completely lost in zumba class.
"How come literally everyone except me knows what they're doing??"
3. Seeing yourself in the mirror while dancing.
4. Giving people this look when they suggest playing games like "Dance Dance Revolution."
"How about NO."
5. Avoiding school dances at all costs.
Because school dances are "EW."
6. Watching your friends in the center of the dance floor like this...
7. While you're over in the corner like this.
8. The Cha Cha Slide song being the only song you're willing (and able) to dance to at parties.
And you usually STILL end up clapping off rhythm.
9. People trying to teach you how to dance.
This just never ends well.
