You've been on a long journey through school, and now you're in college. You've experienced some really good teachers as well as some really terrible ones. You aspire to be like the good ones and hope to change your own students' lives. Here are the signs that you were born to be a teacher.
1. You helped other students and younger siblings with their homework.
You loved to play teacher when you were younger and you were good at it.
2. You are creative.

You have the magical power of thinking of different and creative ways to teach a concept to others and make it fun at the same time.
3. Grammatical errors bother you.
Like, they really bother you. There is a difference between their, there, and they're and two, too and to. You don't understand how people your age still don't know the difference.
4. Standardized testing drives you crazy.

You don't understand it at all. Every student is different and should not be tested like this.
5. You always put yourself in others' shoes.
You constantly try to understand others and where they are coming from. You know that you will be understanding of your students.
6. You have an idea of what you want your future classroom to look like.

You probably have a Pinterest board for different ways to organize and decorate your classroom.
7. People tell you all the time that you will make a great teacher.

Hearing this is super encouraging and confirms that you are going into the right field.
8. You always hear how you won't make any money.
But you really don't care because you're not in it for the money. You want to change and inspire children's lives. This is not a field to go into if you want to be rich.
9. It's hard for you to picture yourself going into any other field.
You have always wanted to be a teacher for as long as you can remember, and you really cannot see yourself doing anything else. You will be a great teacher.
