We all have those shows that we think of when we think of our childhood or early teens. These are the classics and we were brought up watching them. Now, they aren't on the air anymore and we really wish they were. So here are nine of your favorite shows that we all wish still existed:
1. Gossip Girl
"You know you love me. XOXO." Yep this one is a classic. The drama, scandals, schemes, and fashion of the Upper East Side's elite kept me watching for all six seasons. When it was over, I definitely wanted more and still do.
2. Full House
SUCH a classic. I am truly sad that our children will never know the joys that came with watching this show. I know, I know. There is the new Netflix spin off. But let's all be honest here. It just isn't the same.
3. Hannah Montana
YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. This show was the heart and soul of my childhood. I was convinced that one day I would live a double life as a pop star just like Miley Stewart did. We just passed the ten year anniversary and I was so sad. Shoutout to you Hannah for making me feel like I could "rock out a show."
4. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
Everyone loved this classic Disney show and everyone wanted to live in a hotel just like Zac and Cody. We have even tried going down a hotel hall on the luggage trolley. The Suite Life on Deck definitely did not cut it as a spin off. I want the original back.
5. That's So Raven
The theme song to this show was probably stuck in your head at least once during your childhood. She could see the future. It doesn't get much cooler than that. Also she was my introduction to the sass that would later become a permanent part of my personality.
6. Drake and Josh
This one kind of speaks for itself. The dynamic duo of this show are really missed. This show is quoted on the regular. The only thing good that came out of the show ending is the fact that Josh Peck is really attractive now. But, even the most romantic at heart would trade that for the show to be back on.
7. Lizzie McGuire
She just really was me. I was that klutzy girl that never really knew what was going on and that is Lizzie McGuire to a T. I miss watching the show and praying that her and Gordo would get together. I also loved that movie where they were in Rome and she was basically Hannah Montana for a day. Again with the rockstar dream. I was feeling it and I miss the down to earth-ness that was Lizzie McGuire.
8. Kim Possible
"What's the sitch?" Not going to lie, the beeping noise that Kim's pager made is currently my ringtone. I also can sing every word to the theme song. We all totally miss the naked mole rat and the awkward friendship/romance between Kim and Ron. Times were simpler back then and I really wish this cartoon was still around.
9. Friends
We all just felt like we were a part of this group of friends while watching this show. Plus everyone had that one person on the show that they felt like they personally related to. Sometimes you just needed to sit down and watch this show because you needed to laugh and feel good. And shows like that are honestly the best.
Well there you have it! We all wish that these shows were still producing episodes that we could enjoy. Whether its the good feelings you got from watching friends or the desire to follow your rockstar dreams after watching Hannah Montana, these shows were some of the best in their time. Thank goodness that we have Netflix to relive it all again!
