After watching the Grammys last night, I think my love for Adele grew more (if that is even possible). It's not just her voice, albums, or international success that makes the world love and adore her; it's how she reminds us all that we are all humans and no one is without flaws. So, here's just a few of the many reasons why millions of fans and I love Adele.

1. She is genuine.

She loves what she does, and she truly is so grateful to her fans for the support and believing in her.

2. She doesn't want people to think she's perfect.

During her tribute to George Michael last night, Adele stopped singing and asked to restart because she did not want to mess up "Fast Love" for Michael. Honestly, I did not even feel she messed up because her voice is always so beautiful.

3. She isn't afraid to show her emotions and be vulnerable.

Adele doesn't hold back what she's feeling. A lot of the times, celebrities feel that they always have to be put together and composed. Adele is breaking that stereotype, and I love her for it.

4. She puts everything she has into the music she creates.

Her music is so deep and relatable and real. From 21 to 25, Adele has continued to speak right to my heart.

5. She has the best sense of humor.

She keeps me laughing. You never know what she's going to say next.

6. She is fluent in swearing and does it without even thinking.

I can't stop myself from laughing every time I hear her swear. She says what's on her mind, whether it's the right time or not.

7. She is the most relatable artist to listen to when going through a breakup.

She is so wise beyond her years. Her music makes you feel something and that the rough patch you're going through will soon be over.

8. Like all of us, she loves Beyoncé.

In her Grammy acceptance speech, she made sure to recognize Beyoncé for her hard work on the "Lemonade" album.

9. She has the kindest heart.

She loves creating music and giving back to her fans. Her kindness is not overlooked.

Adele is a light and a role model to this world. These are only nine of the many reasons I love and adore her. Please keep making music Adele; we'd be lost without it.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
