We all dread Mondays, because we have to wake up early, get out of bed and go to work or school. These are nine reasons you should stop dreading Mondays and start enjoying them, because they actually have a lot to offer.
1. It’s a new week full of opportunity
Monday starts a new work/school week, which means you have a new chance to make this a good week. Start your week off right with a positive attitude—it will go a long way!

3. You see people you might not get to see on the weekends
You get to see that coworker who always makes you laugh or that friend who always works on the weekends.
4. It only happens once a week
If you absolutely dread it, you can look at the positive side that it only happens once a week. You can also say it only happens once a week so you should make it count!
5. You get to tell your weekend stories
On Mondays, you get to tell everyone the fun things you did this weekend and you get to hear the interesting things other people did over the weekend, which might give you ideas for a future weekend.
6. Wearing new clothes you bought over the weekend
Sometimes, all it takes is a new shirt or perfect fitting jeans to make you feel incredibly confident, which usually leads to a happy outlook for the day. Look good, feel good.
7. A happy start to a week usually leads to a happier week.
We all know that when we have a bad Monday the rest of the week seems to follow in that pattern, but the same works for a good Monday. If you go into Monday happy, you’ll most likely have a happier week!

Due to the fact it's Monday and you’re still exhausted from the weekend, you can tell yourself it's OK to have that third cup.

This is the biggest reason to be happy, even if times are tough. You are alive and are given the chance to make today a good day, so do it!
