I've noticed that everyone loves to talk about why their relationships ended but not about why they fell in love with the person. I interviewed 9 people to see why they fell in love with their first love.

1. "Why I loved my first love? God there's so many things I could say, I guess I could begin where it first started. We started out as friends and had no intentions of being together. But as we started to hang out and become friends we started to fall in love. I fell in love with every part of him. The way he said my name, his eyes, his voice, the way he held my hand, his personality, the way he walked and the way he held me and his little snore when he fell asleep. He took my breath away in every sense of the word. He was my world and we became obsessed with each other. My dreams became his and his dreams became mine. So if you ask me, I loved my first love because he was apart of me. Soulmates. But soulmates that weren't meant to be together. " ~Paige, 18 years old

2. " I love my boyfriend because he makes me feel a whole different kind of happy. He always is the number one person who is there for me and I can count on him to make me happy. We could literally drive to the grocery store to buy lettuce and I'd have the time of my life." ~Lauren, 17 years old

3. "I fell in love with my first love when I was at my saddest time. He made me feel like a princess. He constantly surprised me just to see the smile on my face. He only cares about me. I feel so on top of the world all the time. I'll love him forever. " ~Arianna, 19 years old.

4. "I fell in love with my boyfriend because he's such a nerd. He can solve a Rubiks cube, juggle, and do magic tricks and it always impressed me. He made me laugh and smile and he always knew what made me happy. He saved me from a terrible relationship and showed me that not all relationships are bad. He knew the way to my heart. He makes life so great." ~Jess, 18 years old.

5. "My first love is the most amazing guy I've ever met and I'm so thankful that he's still in my life today. Something that started as a simple crush turned into something so much more. I've never felt this way about anyone else which is why I think this foreign feeling of love was so special for me. I've fallen in love with everything about my boyfriend. From his eyes to his laugh to the way he smells, even his flaws are the most perfect thing I've ever seen. While love is the best thing that has ever happened to me, it also has been the most complicated and heartbreaking thing as well. My boyfriend and I have been through so much together and hit so many bumps in the road but we just keep coming back to each other, and I just keep falling deeper and deeper in love with him every time. I couldn't imagine myself with anyone else and I hope I never have to. He is my other half and the best thing that has ever happened to me." ~Vivian, 16 years old.

6. "A lot of people describe love differently. But falling in love in my opinion is always being with someone no matter what. No matter how many times you fight, no matter the struggles you've gone through, that other person will always be there. And they won't go anywhere. I think defining love comes from personal experience, at least that's how I shaped my opinion on it. My significant other and I have been through a lot. We both managed to break each others hearts, but ended up falling back into each others hearts. I think the more you go through, the deeper you fall in love. At least that's what happened to him and I. I fell in love with everything about him. The way he treated me, the way he looked at me, the way he held my hand, the way he kissed me, his eyes, his lips. I love everything about him, and I don't think I can ever undo that. Falling in love is like living in a world with only that one other person. He's all I can think about all day. Everything reminds me of him. I love the feeling of knowing that there is someone who loves me as much as I love him." ~ Kimmy, 17 years old.

7. "I love him because he's funny, respectful, sweet, down to earth, out going and always happy." ~ Anonymous

8. "The love I had for him was.. indescribable. When you are able to let that person go and let them be happy (even if its with someone else), that's love to me. That's exactly what I did. And now he is happy and that's all I want. When we were together, I loved everything about him. His life became mine. His beliefs became my beliefs. His opinions became my opinions. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, get married, have children. But instead I let him do that with someone else and now we are both happy. That is love. " ~ Kaitlyn, 18 years old.

9. "I fell in love with Matthew because he always tells me how beautiful I am and he is so nice to me. I knew from the first time I saw him he was going to be my first love. His smile when I saw him had me hooked. I love how we can joke with each other and always be there for each other. We can tell each other anything and we would do anything for each other. There is nobody else I would rather be in love with. " Allie, 18 years old.

It brings me such joy reading everyone's love stories (even though I'm single.) I wanted to write this because I am sick and tired of hearing about every ones break up stories. I wanted to bring out the positive part of relationships.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
