Because golds should be given out for arm muscles

9 Olympic Hotties That Should Not Be Overlooked

The Olympics are a time everyone sits on their couch, probably eating some sort of junk food, watching young athletes compete and accomplish things you could probably never dream of. It's a time where you feel so prideful of your country and the young athletes competing in our honor. Not only this, but you get a glimpse at some outstanding athletes...some of which are very, I mean very, attractive. Who knew these kind of muscular, well-groomed, skilled men existed, and where exactly do you find them!? I think they are like bred in government secrecy, because i've never seen such a beautiful man in existence. Some of these men came short of gold medals this time around, but in honor of their god-like stature, here's a tribute to the fine athletes represented in Rio 2016.

1. David Boudia

David was part of our synchronized diving team (along with Steele Johnson) who earned silver this time around and was a former gold medalist in this event in 2012. Not sure if it's his very sexy facial hair, glistening smile, or the fact he is a such a good dad/husband, but he sure is a babe!

2. Sam Mikulak

Sam is apart of team USA men's gymnastics. He is a seven-time NCAA champion in gymnastics, winning the all around and various other titles. Sam did not medal in the all-around this year, but all 5 foot 6 of him has me swooning.

3. Micah Christenson

Micah is a part of our men's volleyball team. Although he has yet to earn a gold, his smile is gold in my eyes.

4. Madison Hughes

Madison competes in Rugby and is captain of the United States national rugby sevens team. He is also 5 foot handsome.

5. Logan Dooley

Logan is an American trampoline athlete. He has competed at both the American national and international level and is now showing off his super sexy arm muscles around the Olympic games.

6. Tom Daley

Tom competed for Great Britain and specializes in the 10-meter platform event, and won a bronze for synchronized diving this go around. Although he plays for the other team (literally) he still has a piece of my heart.

7. Jacob Dalton

Jake is another member of the men's gymnastics team. Although he didn't medal for team or make all-around, I would definitely give him a gold for those arm muscles and that smile.

8. Ryan Lochte

Ryan swims for team USA and won a gold medal in the men's 4x200m freestyle. He is a 12-time olympic medalist, and while everyone is hating on his new hair, i'm over here drooling.

9. Michael Phelps

The king of the Olympics himself! Although he has enough gold medals to go around, he still gets a gold in his smile and his interview skills. This Olympics, he brought his medal count up to 25 (21 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
