Music festival season is quickly approaching us and is one of the best seasons. Whether you plan on attending Hangout Fest, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Beal Street, Austin City Limits, Music Midtown, Blowing Loud, etc. you can find some of these products useful!

1. Camelback Backpack

Camelbacks are great because you can put water and all of your other needs in there. Different festivals have different policies on if you can bring water in, but if they do not allow that you can always fill it up inside. You can grab yours here .

2. Fanny Pack

If camelbacks aren't for you then a fanny pack is a great option also! Sometimes wearing a backpack can be risky because people behind you can steal from you, but fanny packs do not hold as much. Both are great, but it just depends on your preference! You can find your perfect fanny by clicking this link.

3. Sunscreen

Sunscreen is an absolute must! You will be in the sun for hours which can really damage your skin. Make sure to lather up and take care of your skin! I suggest purchasing some from Walmart or Target but if you can't here you go.

4. Portable Charger/ Charging Phone Case

I personally prefer a charging phone case, but both are great! Phone battery's do not last all day, but your phone does for those videos and pictures. Pick up a phone case here or a portable charger here so your phone will survive the festival!

5. Plastic Bags

These things are cheap and have many different uses. They can organize your things or keep your electronics dry in case of rain. Pick these up basically anywhere or you can just get them here.

6. Sunglasses

The sun is out and about, but you should cover your eyes! Grab some cute sunnies for your festival, but be careful not to lose or break them! My fav sunglass brand is Quay Sunglasses because they aren't too expensive and are great quality! Snag your pair here .

7. The Festival App

You are going to want to download the festival app before you go to the festival. Most of them do not require service because you will most likely not have any. This is a good way to keep up with who is performing when or where things are.

8. Hand Sanitizer

Music festivals can tend to be gross and you will usually end up eating with your hands. I would grab some hand sanitizers for your hands. Your immune system can thank me later. These are some of my favorites !

9. Travel Size Fan

These things are an absolute must-have!! You will thank the good lord when you are in a crowd of hundreds of sweating people and just need some air. They hook into your phone, so they will use your battery, but it is worth it to me. Pick up yours here and never go to another festival without one.

Don't go to whatever festival you chose without having most of these items, I promise you will not regret it! Go out there and have the best time!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
