A Normal Day In The Life Of Austin Williams

What is normal anyways?

A Normal Day In The Life Of Austin Williams

How do you define normal, and how does one singular person define the word normal? That's like asking, what the meaning of life is. Everyone has a different answer. * The Photo above is the actual place that I work at *

My reaction every morning

Giphy

Ahhh yes, the Golden Hour for myself. Every morning Monday through Friday, I wake up around 6:30 am. I turn off my alarm, and think about my life choices for a moment . I then get up, and try to be out the door before 6:50 am. I start work at 7 am. for those keeping track.

6:50-7:10 A.M.

*NOT AN ACTUAL REPRESENTATION OF ME*

Giphy

The part of getting up so early in the morning is driving. If I have time for a shower, that wakes me up. But I like to sleep so...My route to work consists of back roads, usually driven by people way past their pull date. I get to work around 7:10 am.

7:10-9 A.M.

Lord, give me strength to not strangle anybody today

Giphy

It's early in the morning, I haven't had any coffee yet and I need to check in a 90 piece order of Honda parts. Usually ranging from brake pads to full size hoods for dingus's who wreck their car, 'm usually pretty tired at this point, but still trying to wake up. People have learned to leave me be in the morning. KEYWORD: LEARNED.

During this time, it's usually slow for me. I send stuff back to the warranty department at Honda in Connecticut, and sign in tires. Sometimes, the counter folk like to have me do their job and this is where I say yes, because I actually want to keep my job. If it's a slow day for me, I wait for UPS and FedEx to show up. The drivers are all pretty nice. Give them some space on the road, they have places to be and people to see.

Stanley know how to party

Giphy

Lunch! I usually sit in the break room for an hour distressing from the morning. Sometimes I go home to take a shower, but only on special occasions. I tend to bring Top Ramen for lunch everyday, but on Fridays, I get some fast food and party like it's 1999!

1:00-4:00 P.M.

same kid, same.

Giphy

Work ends at 4, but really on slow days, ends when UPS and Fedex is taken care of. Unless there is somewhere to go or something to do, I tend to sit around and browse the internet.

4:00-4:21 P.M.

Kramer is life.

Giphy

Ahh yes, driving home. The best part of the day until you get home! Nothing more, nothing less!

4:22-11:00 P.M.

Giphy

I do a lot of thing between these times. But most day's I'm at home waiting for my beautiful girlfriend Jasmine, and I work on a screenplay or watch videos on how to make short films. I try to keep up to date on important issues as well.

11:30-6:30 A.M.

Giphy

SLEEEEEEEP! It's the most wonderful time of the day!

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

Who could be a better friend than your own sister?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee. My coffee always comes from Starbucks; I refuse to drink it from anywhere else. Over the years, it’s become one of my biggest addictions. So, if you are aware that you’re a Starbucks addict as well, or maybe you need to check to see if you’re an addict, here are seven ways to tell.

College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate. It can be overwhelming at times and it’s important to take a step a back and calmly think things over. Maybe gain some perspective. The following aren’t foolproof tips and may not apply to you, but I was able to find success with them (hope you do too!)
