Signing up for it seemed to be a good idea. "I'll just get it out of the way and have the rest of my day open for doing homework or hanging out with friends," you thought. Well, you thought wrong. Taking a class at 8 a.m. is a grave mistake– here is how they usually go.
Walking into the classroom.
When that one girl opens her mouth.
The one who is way too cheerful and bright and still hasn't picked up on the subtle hints you drop that now is not the right time for small talk.
Hearing your name called. Because of course this class takes roll.
Looking up at the clock when you finally hit your breaking point, only to realize that you're only halfway through the class.
And then having to give yourself a pep talk every five minutes for the rest of class.
That look your professor gives you when you can't seem to string your words together into a coherent sentence.
Realizing there's only five minutes left.
Just try to stop me from packing up my things. I dare you.
Finally getting to leave.
You're free, but at this point, you're too exhausted to even celebrate.
