Donald J. Trump has become an extremely common household name in the United States since he made the decision to run for the Presidency in the 2016 election. Most notably famous for his unique hair style, orange skin and billion-dollar business empire, Trump believes he will "make American great again." While some people vehemently support him, others are just as strongly opposed to being our nation's executive. Trump has made some rather mind-blowing and head-turning statements. Here are eight times Mr. Trump blew our minds in all absurdity. From tweets, to debates and press conferences, Trump sure knows how to make our jaws drop.
1. "I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me —and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words."
So, Mr. Trump, will you be building a wall with your bare hands then?
2. "You know, it really doesn't matter what [the media] writes as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass."
Trump, you are 69 years old and have been married three times. Not very solid advice.
3. "The beauty of me is that I'm very rich."Money cannot buy happiness, they say. Can it?
4. "If Obama resigns from office NOW, thereby doing a great service to the country -- I will give him free lifetime golf at any one of my courses!"
President Obama, your passion for golf seems to be driving a wedge between you and Mr. Trump. Or is it your policies? Who knows?
5. “All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected."
All of them? Ready for wife number four are we?
All of them? Ready for wife number four are we?
6. "I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I'm more honest and my women are more beautiful."
'Honest' is an understatement.
7. "ISIS is making big threats today - no respect for U.S.A. or our "leader" - If I win it will be a very different story, with very fast results."
Is it me or does this sound like an infomercial trying to sell a product?
8. "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?"
Ah, my personal favorite. This is just downright funny and incredibly absurd. Not only does it bash Mrs. Hillary Clinton, but the former President Bill Clinton. Since Hillary and Donald are both running in this election, this just helps drudge up the past with Monica Lewinsky. But at this point, "what difference does it make?" Your move, Hillary.
