If you're a girl (or a guy even) and you haven't watched Gossip Girl, you need too. Immediately. If you have watched gossip girl, then you know the infamous, beautiful, sometimes scary Blair Waldorf. Her crazy on-again-off-again relationship with Chuck is absolutely captivating. But knowing her means, you also know how absolutely psychotic she can be. She thrives off drama and I'm 99% sure most of the posts on Gossip Girl came from her. With all that said, her strong, independent nature is something to look at. Blair is the definition of a go-getter and I completely agree with her. It's the 21st century people! The time for waiting around for things is over. No one is entitled to anything. Make things happen. Choose your own destiny instead of expecting it to be chosen for you.

This one goes hand in hand with the first quote. I know what it's like to want something so desperately, that you would do anything for it. Blair knew it in the way she chased the fashion industry. If you want it bad enough, you will fight anything that tries to stand in your way. Once again I say, make it happen.

I'm sure you all remember when Chuck sold Blair for a hotel? One of the most heartbreaking scenes in history. Ladies, do not ever let a man try to own you! Make him work for you. He better love and cherish you and know that you're worth so much more than being his property.
