8 Things That Should Be Invented

"Uhm, I hate taking out the trash. There needs to be like an underground tunnel that takes the trash out to the road for me."

We all perform tasks that we feel could be made so much easier than what they are. While I am amazed every day by what has already been invented such as the things we take for granted in life like cars, microwaves, cell phones, cameras, radios, airplanes, the list goes on... you still know there is so much more out there.

I decided to ask multiple people to think of something they could see being invented in order to make their life a little easier (or in some cases, more fun).

These were my 8 best responses:

1. A Robot That Can Cook

I know something similar to a cooking robot has been talked about and maybe even experimented with, but I'm talking about a robot like the one seen on the Jetsons. One that can prepare, AND serve. (as if we aren't already lazy enough)

2. An Instant Washer/Dryer System

Wouldn't it be nice to throw your clothes down a shoot and have them washed, dried, and dispensed into a basket instantly, where you wouldn't have to stand there and adjust the settings or add soap? If it was able to fold them all too... even better.

3. An Endless Phone Battery

This was one of my favorite responses because I feel as if out of all of my family and friends, I am the one they expect to have a dead phone. All. The. Time. Honestly, why isn't this a thing yet?

4. Digital Closet System

This was hands down my favorite response!

"You know the movie Clueless? In one part, she's choosing her outfit and she is able to simply scroll through the items in her closet digitally, and see all of the matches and mismatches. I want something like that to be invented because it's hard getting dressed and matching clothes on my own in the morning!"

Uhmm, yeah! Wouldn't that be amazing?

5. Underground Trash Tunnel

"Uhm, I hate taking out the trash. There needs to be like an underground tunnel that takes the trash out to the road for me."

An underground conveyer belt to haul trash, maybe!

6. A Cup That Automatically Refills Your Drink With Anything You Want

Who wouldn't be amazed by a cup that filled your drink with anything you wanted, anytime it was empty? You would no longer have to get up during a movie or stop your workout at the gym for a refill. Sounds like a life I want to live, If you ask me.

7. Mind Reading Device

It would be nice to save some time talking to people who may actually have negative opinions of you. No need to waste your precious time liking somebody who actually thinks you're annoying! Not to mention you would no longer have to decipher whether you really believe your boyfriend likes your new hair color or If the car dealer is selling you bogus news.

8. Shoes That Make You Run However Fast You Want

I feel as this response was along the ideas of something fun, but it sure would save on gas, too. Don't ya think?

If there are any future entrepreneurs who happen to stumble upon this article, don't be afraid to make many wishes come true! I'm sure we'd all be ecstatic.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
