Who Cares, Right?

Nothing will bring you happiness like an "I don't care attitude." Sure, it's okay to care about the important things like family, friends, school, etc., but when it comes to the little things, "I don't care" will always be a great answer. They say, "don't sweat the small stuff," and that is exactly what an "I don't care" type of attitude does for you. The less you care, the happier you will be. Here are 8 reasons why an "I don't care" attitude is ideal:

1. You're up for anything

With an attitude like this, you are easily up for anything because you lose fear of the end result. If this "anything" turns out good, then great. If not, then it's a screw it and move on type deal. Next thing you know, you're up for another "anything."

2. Less worries

You couldn't care less about what others think. You do you're own thing and what makes YOU happy. You don't care if you embarrass yourself or make a bad impression. You are who you are and if people don't accept that, then cut them off.

3. Dating is easy

Because you couldn't care less what others think, you are able to show your real self right away. If this person doesn't like it, its easier to cut them off because you simply don't care what others have to say.

4. Life is more fun

It's as if limits on life don't exist. You see a table at a party, damn right you're going to get up on that table and dance. You don't care if your moves are absolutely terrible, you're there to have fun and do your thing.

5. Less drama

Without a care in the world, there is not much to be mad at. You may get angry sometimes but realize it's not even worth reacting over. Your life becomes a drama free zone.

6. Less pressure

You won't feel the pressure of having to be perfect all the time. Your "I don't care" attitude takes over and you feel as if mistakes are okay, as long as you learn from them.

7. Friendships are easy to maintain

Your relationships aren't forced. You don't have drama. You're the friend that's down for anything. That's happiness right there.

8. Your lifestyle is more adventurous

With being down to do anything, comes so many new and eye-opening experiences. You get to do things you otherwise feared doing before. You take risks and chances. You have a lot of courage.

The "I don't care" attitude is the way to go and worry free is the way to live. Life is too short to stop yourself from taking chances.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
