Ah, Disney fashion. It's unlike anything else. Read on to see what's trending in Disney World, but probably not anywhere else. Actually, definitely not anywhere else.
1.Mouse ears
This headband is totally cute and common in the parks, but to avoid strange looks, you may want to find another option to pull your hair out of your face in the “real world.”
2.Pins
Pin trading is HUGE at Disney, but you can’t really find people to trade with just walking around back home. Plus the lanyards (or vests, if you're THAT into it) can get really heavy!
3.Matching family shirts
“Our Disney Family Vacation” shirts = adorable! “Our Family Trip to Delaware” shirts = Mm bettah not. Good luck getting mom, dad, and all the kids, cousins, and grandparents in the same shirt anywhere other than Disney.
4.Fanny packs
Awesome accessory in the 1990s, and still wonderfully convenient in the parks in 2016.
5.Celebration buttons
I’m celebrating! Happy Birthday! 1st Visit! Happily Ever After! Commonly seen in Disney, rarely seen out and about in the real world. Although if I see you wearing one, I will certainly congratulate you, no matter where we are.
6.Head-to-toe Disney character attire
I have some awesome Alice in Wonderland socks that I wear with low top Keds and a matching Alice shirt and an Alice ear hat. It’s an awesome outfit in Disney, but doesn’t translate well back home.
7.Mickey hands
High-Fours happen at Disney, but unfortunately, everywhere else is strictly high-fives.
8.Magic Bands
Magic bands are your key to the kingdom - you can book fast passes, scan for PhotoPass, and pay for just about anything with them! Hmm, maybe we should try to get them other places.
