The countdown begins as we slowly but surely approach Thanksgiving break. I cannot even begin to explain just how excited I am to finally go home. Going home to New Jersey after 3 months in Florida is going to be cold, but so worth it. Obviously going home for Thanksgiving is a blessing but what college kids are really going to be thankful for are the following:
1. Your own bed/couch
there is going to be nothing more satisfying then getting off the plane walking into my bedroom and literally falling into my bed and not getting up until I am forced to.
2. Showering without flip flops on
Let's be real this is going to be the most exhilarating feeling.
3. Real food
I think I may actually gain the freshman 15 when I go home because... food, so much good food.
4. Getting in your car and drive it.
Most people say you have so much freedom when you go to college but people who say that must obviously not go to a college where you can't have a car. I can't wait to just get in my car and drive until I can't drive anymore.
5. Hugging your mom/dad/brother/sister or everyone all at once
Its going to be so satisfying hugging my mom. I may actually never let go until I unfortunately have to leave.
6. No work, no studying no nothing.
My plans for when I go home consist of nothing, nothing and nothing and I've never been more thrilled.
7. Uninterrupted Sleep
An all you can sleep marathon will be taking place when I go home. 8 a.m. will not be apart of my vocabulary while I'm home.
8. seeing your dog/cat/whatever pet you have
I don't even have a pet but every single one of my friends won't stop talking about how excited they are to see their pets so I guess its a thing.
