Growing up, winter is a fun (if freezing) time of year full of snow days, hot chocolate, sledding, and holiday fun. On a college campus, it's an entirely different story. Without our parents shoving us out the door and on our way to school, the struggle to find motivation is real.
1. Getting your butt out of bed in the morning is harder than ever before.
That long walk to class just unimaginably worse
2. Snow days are not even a thing anymore.
Unless maybe you go to college in the South.3. When classes do get cancelled, it's only because it was physically impossible for your out-of-town professors to drive there.
Ugh, no.
4. Campus becomes an ice-slicked death trap of treachery
More or less the exact same struggle.
5. Layers are your new best friend
And you're still never warm enough
6. The dorms are never not cold.
Welcome to hell (if it were frozen)
7. Paying that extra $2 delivery charge for your pizza is 100 percent worth it.
Never think it isn't
8. Finally, you become a social hermit because why on earth would you want to go outside?
No one wants to go outside. Oh, winter.
