There are hundreds of adults out in the world who will tell you that Disney is only for kids. I mean, I guess it's kind of understandable, considering the fact that the company is best known for talking animals, pixie dust, and theme parks where you can dance with superheroes, ride inside of massive teacups, or fight alongside a space ranger. In spite of all that (or maybe because of it), there are many grown-ups who still genuinely love Disney! However, there are some adults who have lost their love and appreciation for Disney as they've gotten older and just can't bring themselves to understand how an adult could possibly still enjoy Disney movies and music or the theme parks.
There is absolutely no shame in loving Disney just as there is no shame in rereading a favorite childhood story or screaming out the lyrics to a Justin Bieber song while attending one of his concerts. Regrettably, there are some people who simply can't grasp that as humans we are all entitled to have different interests and can't accept that it's okay to love Disney regardless of your age. I'm sure I'm not the only Disney fanatic who's had to deal with hearing a medley of questions and comments that can fluctuate from mildly annoying to just plain rude or mean.
Here are eight things that grown-up Disney fans would love to never hear again!
1. Aren't You Too Old For Disney?

This is probably the most common thing we hear and the answer is no! Nobody is ever too old for Disney! And that was part of Walt Disney's vision when he first dreamed of what Disneyland would be like. If you ask me, every single time grown-ups go to Disney and love it the way I do, we are helping make Walt's dream a reality.
2. You'll Never Find A Significant Other Who Will Be Able To Tolerate Your Disney Obsession.
Guess what? There are hundreds of other people just like me who are obsessed with Disney, so it's totally plausible to fall in love with another fan. Besides, how cool would it be to say we fell in love in front of Cinderella's Castle or while watching Fantasmic?
3. When Are You Going To Get Over Your Disney Obsession?

4. You're Going To Disney World Again?
Heck yes I am going again! Honestly, I've probably been planning my next trip since I left Disney World the last time. In fact, I'm planning another trip right now so I can go back.
5. You Went To A Disney Park And You Don't Have Children?

What most people don't realize is it's almost more fun to go to a Disney park without kids. There are no early bedtimes, no height requirements, no school days to worry about missing. So many things can be so much more fun in the parks when you go without children like getting to go on all the fast rides or eating wherever you want. Oh, and let's not forget the awesomeness that is drinking around the world in Epcot!
6. I Don't Go To Disney Because I Don't Like Theme Park Food.
Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the dole whip and school bread I was munching on! Disney is not lacking in the food department! There are literally dozens of places to eat, and anyone can easily find something they like that isn't your typical greasy theme park snacks.7. Disney Is Always So Crowded.
Disney World is only excessively crowded when kids have vacation. This makes going as a grown-up even more awesome because it means significantly less time waiting in lines if you go during the school year. And as an adult, you have no curfew, meaning that once all the families with little children head back to their hotel rooms, you are free to stay out late at night and ride your favorite rides over and over and over again.
8. Don't You Feel Weird Being The Eldest Person In A Group Going To Disney?
No, actually, I do not because nine out of ten times I am going to Disney World with people who are in my age group and love it as much as I do! You'd be surprised at how many adults actually love and can appreciate the awesomeness of Disney.
Now, there are still people who are gonna hate on all of us Disney-loving grown-ups and continue to tell us things like this. But while you're all busy shunning the magic of Disney for the sake of "adulthood," I'm going to be singing along to "Poor Unfortunate Souls," eating a Mickey Bar, and riding Expedition Everest until I can't feel my legs. And I will love every single moment of it.
