8 Struggles Of Being A Shopaholic

1. When your eyes are bigger than your paycheck.

You’ve heard the phrase, “Your eyes are bigger than your stomach,” right? Well sometimes your eyes are bigger than your paycheck too.

2. And then you have to live off ramen for the next two weeks…or pick up another job.

Who needs real food when you can have that $50 sweater? Who needs to sleep when you can pick up another minimum wage job?

3. When you say you’re done, but then you see another shop that’s calling your name.

Your friends have finally dragged you out of the store. You swear to them that it’s over. But wait… what’s that shop on the horizon? It’s beckoning…

4. When you find a product you love…so you have to buy it in every color available.

Wow, that dress is so cute. Better buy it in all four colors.

5. When you tell your friends how much something cost and they say, “I would never spend that much money on something I can’t eat.”

“Who spends $30 on a mascara?” Someone who knows that Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara is the best mascara.

6. When you stumble upon a sale and you have to buy everything.

No. I swear. No more shopping toda—Does that sign say 60% off?

7. When you buy more things than you have room for in your living space.

Buying all of those throw pillows seemed like a great idea at the time, but, uh…now where the heck are you going to put them?

8. The invention of online shopping.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
