1. Just five more minutes.
That snooze button is your best friend. Those five more minutes don’t seem like much, but to you, they're the world. If anyone is like me, you have to set your alarm for an hour before you actually need to get up because it is just natural to press the button that many times. Oops.
2. Shut up!
Anything that anyone says just makes you so angry in the morning. Some people are way too chipper for you in the morning, and you can’t stand it. But don’t take it personally. If I'm still irritated by you in the afternoon, then you should be worried.
3. Not enough sleep.
No matter what time you go to bed at night, you will never get enough sleep. We are never happy to be awake in the morning, so please don’t ask us how we slept or if we need more sleep because you already know the answer.
4. Coffee is my drug.
If I do have to wake up early for school or work, please let me get one or five cups of coffee before we start making some big decisions or even talking for that matter.
5. Breakfast plans? What are those?
If I don’t need to get up early, I will make every excuse not to. Breakfast plans are never a suggestion of mine. Maybe brunch, but that’s still pushing it!
6. You set your alarm for an hour before you actually get out of bed?
I know you were thinking that after I said it in number one. Yes, I need to prepare myself for the rest of the day! I also need to get the motivation and ambition to physically get out of bed. It takes about an hour.
7. A night owl.
You may not be a morning person, but you sure can stay up late! You can go out all night and get up in the morning just like you do if you got a ton of sleep. You’re team no sleep. You’d be better off not sleeping a lot because you usually are more awake than when you do.
