We all use social media. But some of us tend to use it in ways that are, lets just say, straight up annoying AF. Whether its Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat, there are certain things people do that really grind my gears. I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never done any of the things on this list, but let’s all agree that they need to stop ASAP. Here’s 8 signs that you maybe annoying AF on social media.
1. You boomerang EVERYTHING
As Instagram stories have become more popular, the amount of unnecessary boomerangs has reached an all time high. Don’t get me wrong, I think boomerangs are cool when you use it on something that actually compliments the feature. But please let me introduce you to other options such as the classic picture and video.
2. Your feed is overly political
This is just asking for drama. I’m all for first amendment rights and using your platform to promote what you believe, but shoving your beliefs down everyone’s throats is definitely not necessary.
3. You don't follow back
Don’t be that person that doesn’t follow back when you actually know the person!! And especially don’t follow then unfollow. This is just common curtsey people.
4.Your snapchat story is WAAAAY too long
NO ONE WANTS TO TAP THROUGH ALL OF YOUR SNAPS!! Also, no one actually watches your videos from the concert you went to #sorry.
5. You never fail to post a snapchat video of who you're eating dinner with
This is a big one. It seems like it’s an unspoken rule these days to take a video around the table just so you can show everyone who you’re eating with. Here’s a wild concept, how about you actually enjoy each other’s presence at dinner!
6. Your grammar is cringe-worthy
If you don’t use the correct form of “your,” then odds are I’m annoyed.
7. You only post selfies
Look, everyone takes a selfie here and there, but if your entire feed is 100% selfies, it’s frankly just annoying AF and high key makes you look self-absorbed.
8. You always use the snapchat face filters
I guarantee you that your picture would look 10x better without the dog ears or the flower crown. Pls trust me on this one.
