I bet many of you have heard of the Myers-Briggs personalities and the 16 personalities. There are many different ones. It depends on when I take the test and who I am with. I usually get two different ones: I am a ESFJ (mostly always) and sometimes, an ESFP. I am an extroverted as I love getting my energy from others; however, I always thought of myself to be a mixed of an introvert and extrovert. Here are some signs that you are a secret introvert:

1. You hate going to any parties during the weekends...

I would rather hang out with a bunch of friends, relax, or catch up on my sleep on the weekends

2. After hanging with friends for too long, you are the first one to go back to your room to binge watch Netflix

One of my good friends, Miranda who also writes for the Ashland Odyssey community said this about me, "Hmm see you're really extroverted because you like hanging out with friends, but at the same time if you're out too long you always want to go hide in your room and watch Netflix." And she is not wrong.

3. You generally hate anything that can slightly embarrass you.

Like public speaking, falling in front of bunch of people, most especially, talking to your crush

4. You don't tell everyone what you are thinking or what you feel.

Yes, I love talking and asking my friends for advice or opinions; however, sometimes, I have certain pieces of items in my life I keep private too.

5. You would rather go to a museum rather than an amusement park.

I love learning about new things and also, I can control the environment when I am there.

6. There are days that you can go without doing something every day.

As I keep saying, I love staying in and doing nothing

7. You are a secret homebody and you could care less.

Give me my bed, a television, a good book, and my cell phone. I will be good for a whole day!

8. Meeting new people freaks you out.

There are so many different possibilities that could go wrong when you meet people. I have to analyze it in my head every time.

I know this list is not the biggest; however, I am very much an extrovert than introvert. These things on my list could be shorter or longer for other extroverts. There are days where I can be really extroverted and others where I can be left alone. I feel with me, it depends on the day.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
