So, pretty much everyone has a Netflix account or has a friend with a Netflix account that would let them use it. Something I have done A LOT is binge shows, which is something I know that a lot of people can relate to. Luckily, I have liked most of the shows that I have binged and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new show to watch this summer during any of their down time that they may have. There are a lot of shows to choose from whether you're a comedy fan or a drama fan.
Here are the top eight shows that I would recommend to anyone looking for a new show to binge watch on Netflix.
1. "Parks and Recreation"
A lot of people that I know have been watching this series from beginning to end lately on Netflix. The show is completely over (unfortunately), so there are no cliffhangers and you don't have to wait for any more content to be available. The show is hilarious and it is the first thing that I would tell anyone to watch on Netflix.
2. "The Office"
If you love "Parks and Recreation," you might as well try out "The Office" too. They have very similar comedy and you'll most likely love both, I know I did.
3. "Criminal Minds"
Although I am not someone who typically enjoys crime shows, I could watch "Criminal Minds" all day every day. I love every single character and the plot catches my interest a lot more than most crime shows. The show is still going on, but there are ten full seasons on Netflix so it will take a bit of time to catch up.
4. "Once Upon A Time"
Not only did I spend a huge chunk of time a few months ago binge watching what is now my favorite TV Show, but I got a lot of my family to do it as well. I already love fairytales so this show gives viewers a new way to look at them. The show is not complete, but there are four seasons available on Netflix and the fifth should be up soon.
5. "Orange Is The New Black"
When a lot of people think of Netflix shows, the first thing they think of is "Orange Is The New Black." This is by far one of the most popular made for Netflix series available. There are three seasons and the fourth will be up on June 12th, which means I know what I will be doing for the next few days after that.
6. "The Flash"
Unfortunately, there is only currently one season available to watch on Netflix, as it is a newer show than most of the shows I have watched, but it is definitely worth catching up to that point at least. For anyone like me who loves superhero movies, shows -- anything -- this is the show for you. It has a great plot, a lovable cast to root for, and great special effects that will hold you over until the next superhero movie is out in theaters.
7. "Gossip Girl"
I originally started watching "Gossip Girl" on Netflix just to see what all the fuss was about when it was airing on ABC Family (now known as Freeform). I never intended to get hooked and watch all six seasons, but I did. It is a typically ABC Family drama filled show and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys those shows.
8. "Friends"
Though I have not finished watching all ten seasons yet (I'm on season nine, almost there!), I think everyone should binge watch "Friends" on Netflix. Whether it is for nostalgia's sake, or just to get a laugh, "Friends" has definitely become one of my favorite shows to watch on Netflix.
