8 Reasons Why I Fangirl Alpha Omicron Pi

8 Reasons Why I Fangirl Alpha Omicron Pi

I could go on forever on why Alpha Omicron Pi has become my “homicron” at college, but let’s cut to the chase. Here are a few, out of the many reasons why I am an AOII till die:

1. The diverse girls we have in our fraternity (yes, we have been around for that long).

We have the book smart, street smart, sporty girls, party girls, “run the world” girls, and girly girls all in one organization. I love that we are not just one type because I learn and thrive from all of my sisters.


2. We are easy going.

I have never met more understanding and approachable girls! From the start of the school year attending Greek events, during recruitment, and being a new member in AOII I have always felt welcomed.

3. Sisterhood events

I LOVE going to sisterhood events, chapter, and crafting nights (yeah I know I am basic) because I love hanging out with all my sisters at once! I always create a stronger bond with a sister at each event.



4. Instagram likes

LOL this tech isn’t a reason, but I want to throw a shout out to my girls on their 100+ likes on all my photos because I gram a lot. #thanks


5. Always having someone to do stuff with!

Literally mall runs, caf runs, library runs, (dreaded) gym runs, cove runs, movie nights, basketball games, or anything I need!! I can always put it in our group chat and someone will immediately respond!


6. My big

I LOVE having a Big it’s the best thing ever because she’s obligated to listen to your problems and go on date nights with you. It’s like having a boyfriend only better because she buys you letters, lets you steal her stuff, and she can’t leave you but also loves you endlessly!

But on a serious note she has my back no matter what and I will always have hers, love you biggie!

7. We are growing.

Being in a colonized chapter means you are the new girls on the block, but I honestly love it. I mean how many sisters can say they personally knew their chapter founders and helped our chapter grow! We are original, unique, and I can see first-hand how much our organization has been growing!

8. The meaning behind Alpha Omicron Pi.

Alpha Omicron Pi members exceed the expectations (see what I did there) because we believe in being down to earth, smart, sisterly, service oriented, and all around great girls! This fraternity was founded on friendship and always accepting others which is exactly what I believe in!


Alpha Omicron Pi has given me endless friendships, shoulders to cry on, girls to celebrate with, and an international support system!

AOII till I die!
