8 Reasons I’m Excited For The Inauguration

8 Reasons I’m Excited For The Inauguration

1. I will get to witness history.

2. Transition of Power

One of the best things about the United States is the continued peaceful transition of power, regardless of the contentious circumstances of this election cycle. Before George Washington finished his second term as U.S. President, the King of England, speaking of the rumor that GW would simply give up the power, said “If he does that, he will be the greatest man in history.”

3. A continued focus on the system of check-and-balances.

Despite predictions for increased demands for safe spaces, the country will continue to operate with the system of checks and balances functioning as our Founding Fathers had in mind.

4. Reforms to the tax code and regulation removal.

The anticipated reforms to the tax code and removal of some regulations put in place by the previous administration will give a sorely needed boost to the economy which will accrue to the benefit of all.

5. Hollywood controversy

Certain “celebrities” have promised to move to Canada, New Zealand, or another planet once Trump is president.

6. Past Presidents and First Ladies

I am eager to see the turnout of the past Presidents & First Ladies at the Inauguration.

7. Looking forward to free college!

Oh, wait...

8. President Trump & Speaker Ryan

I eagerly anticipate President Trump and the impressive Speaker Ryan working together to the country’s benefit.
