In this day and age, Hollywood is all about how you look, how you keep up with your Instagram appearance, what you wear to events, who you associate with, and of course, the following you have. Ed Sheeran is one of those artists that succeeds purely because of his talent, his humble nature, and his ability to perform.

Here are 8 reasons that I would 110% rather have a ring on my finger from Ed himself over the typical Hollywood hunks like JT and JB.

1. Lyrical genius.

His lyrics are nothing short of legendary. The man can do it all. He’s multi-talented, started by creating the music all by himself using a loop pedal, a mic, and a guitar. Oh, and did I mention he raps too? There’s nothing he can’t do.

2. Hopeless romantic.

Ok so, going along with the lyrical theme...I think you can come to the conclusion that he is a hopeless romantic. If you haven’t listened to “Wake Me Up” from his + album, you need to go listen now. If a man sang me those lyrics, I’d die a happy woman.

3. Respectful.

Another thing I love about Ed Sheeran is his respect for women, the authorities, and people in general. You never hear him spewing negativity about others, calling women names in his lyrics, or disrespecting authorities. Respect to me is one of the most attractive qualities a man can have.

4. Humble.

Ed Sheeran was homeless before/during the start of his career. He was a busker (here in the states we call them street performers) in the city and paved his way to fame with a ton of hard work, practice, and determination. Fame did not inflate his ego and he never feels the need to brag about anything. He came from nothing and now he’s nothing but grateful to the people who support him.

5. Care-free.

He could care less about what other people think of him and that is SO attractive. Most Hollywood stars focus on their appearance and not so much their craft. His only goal is to make good music and share it with his fans.

6. Not wrapped up in Hollywood fame.

Once upon a time, Ed took a year off from making music and staying out of the spotlight for himself and his career. This is something you NEVER see artists doing and he did it purely because he needed to and didn’t want fame to consume his life. He also walked his first red carpet in jeans and a t-shirt...the backlash he got for that had him walking events in nothing but suits from then on but that’s definitely not his style while on tour.

7. His tattoos are just darling.

Okay so have you seen all of his body art…..it’s so beautiful and (almost) everything has a story behind it. Just another thing that makes him interesting and attractive obviously.

8. Unpopular Opinion: He’s SO DAMN CUTE.

One thing you often hear about Ed Sheeran is “his voice is so beautiful, but have you seen his face?” Well personally, I find that along with all of his amazing qualities (that I know of as a fan), his face is rather cute. He’s got nice eyes and cool hair, oh and have you seen him dance? Lay off the man, who cares if he doesn’t look like Justin Timberlake.

Basically, I love him and these are just a few reasons why. He may not be the most attractive guy in Hollywood but he sure is a Hollywood hunk to me. Share this with friends you know that love him too because I can’t be the only one who agrees with the points I’ve made above...I hope.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
