Disney Channel today is just not the same as it used to be.
I think it's time to reflect on the AMAZING shows Disney Channel gave to us as children. To show kids today what they are missing out on. Shows like Boy Meets World, That's So Raven, The Proud Family, Lizzie McGuire, Kim Possible, and they list it never ending. But these shows actually taught us life lessons. These were what made the 90's one of the best decade ever.
1. It made you believe you could find your soul mate. Made you believe in true love.
The connection between Corey and Topanga is one now one will ever forget.
2. It should you that it's okay to be a different shape or size.
Raven showed us its okay to be different and that everyone should be excepting of everyone, no matter what they look like.
3. It taught you that you can always rely on your siblings; no matter how annoying, or how bad the advice is.
Eric might not be the "brightest" but hey, he gives good advice.
4. Taught that your friends will be there for you through thick and thin.
Shawn never really had a support system until he meets Corey and his Family, and they took him in. Corey was and will always be there for Shawn no matter what.
5. Anyone can save the world.
- Everyone knows Kim Possible. Regular High School Student/Cheerleader by day and by night World saving superhero with her friend/sidekick Ron along with Rufus, a naked mole rat.6. Taught us to accept everyone from every culture.
The Proud Family Taught us to accept everyone no matter where they are from.
7. Taught you that being true to yourself is better than being popular any day.
Gordo showed us that sitting with your friends is way better than trying to impress someone to be popular.8. Family comes first.
Family is not just blood, its those who are truly in your life who “know” you, who will hold your hand & be proud to walk beside you,and who have your back.
