Can you believe it's already been 16 years since the start of this century? I definitely can't. Every year I always hear people talk about their New Year's Resolutions and how, "this will definitely be the year!" Well, I'm personally tired of hearing about these resolutions fail, so instead of writing about why you should stick to your resolution, I'm simply going to write a few reasons why this New Year is going to be absolutely insanely awesome, (and maybe a little bit about New Year's Resolutions).
New year, new opportunities!
There is literally a world of possibilities out there. Especially being in college, it seems like there is always something new happening either at school or the community.
Election season is upon us.
I personally find this to be one of the most exciting times in America. Debates, candidates, political hubbub, Des Moines…need I say more?
Actually following through on New Years resolutions.
This is going to be the year, people. Set a realistic goal and stick to it for once. A goal can be as simple as living each day to the fullest.
Concerts are on point.
Twenty One Pilots, Adele, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, Halsey, Selena Gomez, and more. The concerts are literally endless.
The world is about to experience "Finding Dory."
Get ready, people. June 17 is going to be epic. And you thought Nemo was good...just you wait and see. Actually, just keep swimming.
I have another chance to get my life together.
Alas, another 365 days to pretend to figure out what you're doing with your life and then change your mind again next year.
One more year of unfiltered Obama.
Let's put it like this: if you don't like him, you only have one more year and you've already made it seven! But if you do like him, you have another year left of unedited Obama commentary!
Dylan O’Brien still exists.
You're welcome.
