They're quite deep thinkers. They are meticulous, thoughtful and patient. They take their time, choosing their words carefully.
They're also notorious murderers.
What a great example of the fact that everybody and everything in life has something to teach us- these wise words from some of history's most prolific serial killers.
1. "Pain's not bad, it's good. It teaches you things. I understand that."- Charles Manson
There you go, Charlie, practice your acceptance skills.
2. "If you're going to do something, do it well. And leave something witchy."- Charles Manson
Make your presence known, wherever you go and whatever you do.
3. "Guilt. It's this mechanism we use to control people. It's an illusion, it's a kind of social control mechanism and it is very unhealthy. It does terrible things to the body."- Ted Bundy
A little insight on the physical ramifications of emotional distress never hurt anybody.
4. "I should have got myself an aquarium... that's what I should have done."- Jeffrey Dahmer
Well, I suppose an aquarium would have been a step in the better direction.
5. "A man's gotta make at least one bet a day, else he could be walking around lucky and never know it."- Jim Jones
That's an excellent point.
6. "Today I am dirty; tomorrow I will be just dirt."- Carl Panzram
Sounds about right.
7. "We do whatever we enjoy doing. Whether it happens to be judged good or evil is a matter for others to decide."- Ian Brady
As long as you're sticking to your guns, you're golden.
8. "You don't understand me, you're not expected to. You are not capable of it. I am beyond your experience."- Richard Ramirez
I doubt that anybody could be capable of understanding the Nightstalker, although it could be fun to try!
I'll leave it up for you to decide whether these infamous killers and cult leaders were actually evil monsters, or perhaps they were truly just the tortured artists and brooding intellectuals of our modern society? Could be- think about it.
