Elle Woods of the iconic "Legally Blonde" franchise celebrated her 15th anniversary this week of the film's release. In addition to the movie, the story of Elle Woods coming into her own was turned into a book, musical and even multiple sequels of the film. Ms. Woods is a movie icon in her own right. Her positivity, love of pink and chihuahua, Bruiser, have inspired viewers across the country. Elle is a woman that everyone can learn some tips from. Her bold moves are something to admire and her life lessons are plentiful throughout the movie.

1. Always have faith In yourself

Elle couldn't have said it better herself!

2. Don't let anyone try to change your dreams and passions

Elle had her standards set high for Harvard Law and did not let anyone who doubted her get in her way!

3. You should always work hard for what you want

Elle had to work her butt off to get into Harvard Law to chase after her ex-boyfriend Warner. She definitely proves that hard work pays off.

4. Always have confidence

Even when everyone had their doubts about her, Elle never lost confidence in herself. It is definitely one of her most admirable qualities.

5. Don't let people question your self worth

Elle was appalled at the fact that her boyfriend Warner was breaking up with her because he wanted someone more "serious." She didn't let anything he said stop her from accomplishing her goals and living her life.

5. Always be yourself

Even though her law school classmates may have thought she didn't have what it took because of her "Malibu Barbie Stereotype," Elle didn't let that detest her. She continued to be her bubbly, pink self even when people turned against her or didn't accept her.

6. Never be afraid to speak up

When Warner attempted to take her back at the end of the movie, she knew that he was not meant for her, despite all of her best efforts throughout the story. She knew that she deserved better and spoke her mind.

7. Don't let the haters get you down

In this iconic part of the movie, Elle didn't let the mean girls get to her. She wore her bunny costume proudly and didn't let it shake her.

8. Always keep your dreams and ambitions big!

Elle's original plan was to go to Harvard Law to win back her boyfriend Warner, but ends up finding herself and a passion for law. Always dream big, like Elle!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
