Whether you recently binge-watched "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix, watched the reruns on the regular on Freeform (aka ABC Family), or have been obsessed with the show since its initial airing in 2000, there are plenty of life lessons that can be learned from our favorite residents of Stars Hollow.
1. You can never have enough coffee.
Coffee is the fuel of champions. Well, at least it's the fuel of Lorelei Gilmore. And lets be real, who doesn't want to be more like Lorelei Gilmore?
2. Moms make the best BFF's.
Lorelei and Rory have the ideal mother-daughter relationship. They prove once and for all that not only is it OK to be best friends with your mom, it's actually pretty cool.
3. Don't EVER settle.
Both Lorelei and Rory are picky with every single thing in their lives - which men they date, the food they eat and the movies they watch - but that's part of what makes them so great. These ladies never settle for anything less than the best and neither should you.
4. Don't be afraid of being alone.
Lorelei was 16 when she got pregnant with Rory, and from that point forward she didn't give two squats what a man thought of her. She raised Rory pretty much all by herself, became the manager of an inn and then bought her own inn - all on her own. Lorelei shows us that there are definitely worse things than being alone. Until, of course, you met your very own Luke Danes and love him forever and ever.
5. A little sarcasm never killed anybody.

6. Have courage when faced with problems.

7. Take chances.
(Even though I think Jess is perfect for Rory) Logan taught Rory a lot about living a life full of chance and surprise. As Logan would say, "People can live a hundred years without really living for a minute." So go ahead and live on the edge.
8. Respect girl power!
Lorelei and Rory are all about independence and feminism. They take care of themselves and don't ask for help from anyone else (except for sometimes Richard and Emily, but that doesn't count). They look out for each other and as well as all the other ladies in their lives.
