Are you single? Do you need some advice on finding that special someone? Well look no further. All you have to do is turn on your local country radio station! There you will find an abundance of tried and true methods for finding that special someone. And once you've found your soul mate, these lyrics will give you all the romantic advice you could ever need! Here are the top eight lessons that Country songs teach us about love, life and romance.

1. Cheesy pickup lines always work

"I know you've heard that worn out line about love at first sight / Well, I never knew those words were true 'til you walked in tonight." (John Michael Montgomery's "Be My Baby Tonight")

2. Just hope things work out well for you

3. Selfless romantic gestures should be rare
