I don't really know when it began, but somewhere along the line I begged my parents to acquire a Netflix account so I could start watching "The Office"--my first official Netflix binge and sitcom addiction. Sitcoms are the greatest. They are easy to watch because they're all only 20 minutes long and they're kind of required to be hilarious. Here are eight that you need to start.
1. "The Office"
This is just a given. It takes a second to get into, but once you do it is the greatest thing.
2. "How I Met Your Mother"
A show that is genuinely creative in the way it was made. Everything connects to everything else, and the story line is a long haul, but it is all worth it in the end.
3. "Parks and Recreation"
I was skeptical at first because I thought this was just going to be a remake of "The Office." It's not. Take a minute and check it out.
4. "New Girl"

5. "Friends"
An oldie but a goodie. If you've never watched it all the way through, it's on Netflix waiting.
6. "30 Rock"
Tina Fey starring in a show based on her life and fun times at a show like "Saturday Night Live."
7. "Broad City"
Two girls running around NYC. Yas queen. Find it on Hulu.
8. "Brooklyn 99"
Also a good Hulu show, Andy Sandburg plays a smart yet immature detective.
