The cast of Gilmore Girls has given us a lot to be thankful for over the years. This past Thanksgiving, by partnering alongside Netflix, Amy Sherman-Palladino, created a four part mini-series to suffice our craving for more Gilmore. I am not going to spoil anything for those who have yet to watch, but needless say, she left us wanting more, and I am so ready for it.
But now as we have gotten passed Thanksgiving, and are starting to move into the holiday spirit, I am sure you have thought about what you want to give your loved ones for the holiday season.
For the Rory Gilmore in your life...
Rory is a young, ambitious, beautiful Yale graduate, who wants a serious, sophisticated look to move on in her future.
She is not the most basic girl of her kind, so I would assume Starbucks gift cards would be out of the question, maybe some gourmet coffee and a first edition of some old, dead author? or maybe an outfit for interviews and confidence boosts? Like from Ann Taylor Loft or Banana Republic?
It is no secret that parents are the hardest to shop for every holiday season. Their kids are their whole world, but every working mother deserves a treat, or even a day for herself. If Lorelai was my mom I would spoil her by letting her have just that, a spa day to a really fancy spa and a nice lunch, something I'm sure most mothers would appreciate.
For the Sookie St. James in your life...
Sookie is a wonderful dedicated best friend, who has a lot more to her than just her love of food. She also has her family with Jackson and the kids. Sookie deserves a new updated kitchen, or at least a new KitchenAid and some cook books.
For the Luke Danes in your life...
Luke is Lorelai's handy man and Rory's father figure throughout the show. He deals with the Gilmores on the good days and the bad ones. Someone like Luke honestly deserves a day or two off, a new flannel, a new snap back and some tools. He's a tough guy who probably enjoys football games like most dads do, so a new recliner or tv would work too.
For the Lane Kim in your life...
Lane is the loyal best friend that any girl could wish for. If anything, she's living her with her husband Zach, touring small towns rocking out on the drums. If I would get anything for her it would be some tickets for her favorite band or a new drum set.
For the Michel Gerard in your life...
Michel is very loyal, but very stern and easily irritated. He also lost his beloved dog in one of the seasons of Gilmore Girls so for that reason, and to boost their mental state, I suggest getting them a puppy.
For the Emily Gilmore in your life...
Emily is one of those women that if she wants it done a certain way she will either do it herself or hire someone to do it for her. If she wanted something for Christmas, she would buy it herself. If the woman actually tells you something she wants, get it.
For the Logan Huntzberger in your life...
In the beginning, Logan seemed like the snotty rich kid, as most of the Gilmore Girls was made out to be, but Logan was different. Logan is a sweet, adventurous, right-hand-man for Rory, he's also my personal favorite Rory significant other.
For Logan, I would get something sweet and sentimental to the relationship.
