It's that wonderful time of year when you reunite with most of your family members you haven't seen since last Thanksgiving.

Yet, you always get just a little worried if the turkey is going to be thrown across the room because two of your family members are fighting over a topic that should be FORBIDDEN during a lovely Thanksgiving meal.

So, here are X topics that are off limits during Thanksgiving dinner:

1. Politics

We all know that it is not going to end well, so why do we even bother to bring it up? Let's just not and enjoy the delicious stuffing!

2. Trump

I know there are a decent amount of family members that support Trump's every single decision. I mean, good for you, but let's not start a war at the table please!

3. My future

I promise you all, when I know what my future plans are, I WILL LET YOU KNOW. PLEASE STOP ASKING ME, I GET NERVOUS AND SWEATY.

4. How college is going

It's my last year of college, how do you think I'm doing? Look up the word mess in the dictionary, there should be a nice picture of me having a mental breakdown.

5. How much I decide to eat

I will devour this entire table, do not judge me for it.

6. Family drama

Whoever has beef with someone, you guys can take it outside. I will not have my family dinner ruined because you people don't know how to act.

7. How exhausted I look

I am going to try and look my best for you guys, but college is ripping me a new one so please bear with me.

Thanksgiving is supposed to be one of the happiest holidays where we stuff our faces and keep everything light and positive. There's no point in trying to bring up any uncomfortable topics, so let's just save that for a rainy day. Happy Thanksgiving!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
