If you've ever taken a summer course you know how crummy it feels when you just want to go swimming and tan but you have an exam tomorrow. So much for summer vacation when you have two papers and tons of homework.

1. How am I taking a whole course in only five weeks?

How on earth can they fit an entire semester's worth of work in only a few weeks?! It doesn't seem possible.

2. Wow! It's gorgeous outside too bad I have school work...

Remember when you were little and summer meant no more school or books? Not anymore!

3. Will I ever get a vacation?

Yeah, no, you probably won't. Just accept it.

4. So much for a social life when I have school work and work work.

The demands are endless! So much for friends and family or relaxing!

5. At least I'm getting ahead!

You tell yourself that as you fake smile and hope that this class is totally worth the stress of a nonrelaxing summer.

6. Okay, time to lock myself in my room like in high school

This can literally feel like high school part two. You lock yourself in your room doing work and having your parents constantly nag you about getting it done.

7. But the beach is calling my name...

Oh well! I'll try again in the fall. Time to get that nice summer tan.
