7 Things You Know To Be True When Your BFF Is Your Soulmate

We all have one.

7 Things You Know To Be True When Your BFF Is Your Soulmate

This BFF constantly knows what you're doing, what you're going through, what gets you mad, and what you need to be happy. Sure, your other friends are limited and annoyed that you're always with each other, but when conversations never end, nor do the questionable things you two do together, you really don't care.

1. "Do you have any other friends?"

Totally. Well, kinda. Just because me and my BFF seem obsessed with each other doesn't necessarily mean we are, right? You can never get enough of each other's friendship even when all the time you spend together could literally define "inseparable." Sure, your other friends think you're annoying AF, but whatever, it happens.

2. You FaceTime once a day even though you saw them 2 hours ago.

"I wonder what _________ is doing right now." *cue FaceTime ringing* You can expect them to pick up the call with an indefinably ugly face because that's simply the norm of your friendship. The conversation goes something like this:

"Hey, what's up?"

"Nothing wanna do something?"

"Sure, come to my dorm."

"Okay, I'll leave in 10!"

3. The screenshots they have of you could ruin your life.

And vice-versa. This friend is the one you send your 7:30 AM snaps to that include a selfie saying, "I really don't want to be at this 8 AM." Also, it would be shocking if you didn't have a few screenshots of their 4 AM drunken snaps in a rando's apartment.

4. The second hand embarrassment is real.

Ever meet at the dining hall only to see your BFF in a groutfit, messy bun, and flip-flops, because same. Not only are you high-key loving how disgusting the outfit they threw together clearly last minute turned out -- you're also mortified at the fact that they are having to walk through crowds of people in this outfit.

5. The conversations you have only make sense to each other.

Group lunches are near impossible with this friend because realistically you only end up laughing at half sentences -- you already know how that story is going to end. You've also mastered "the look" which means more than 1000 words.

"Did you just see th-"

"Yes, why wouldn't she just ditch the heels entirely?"

"No idea."

6. Her boyfriend is basically your boyfriend.

You're in this emotionally, too. Whenever they get in a fight -- you're sad, she's sad, he's sad. This is a three-way deal and besides, half the text messages he receives while they are fighting are from you. Third wheeling is the most dreaded and accepted thing in your friendship. "No I don't want to hang out with you two, but I wanna hang out so yeah, what time are we meeting for lunch?"

7. Fights with this friend are worse than breakups.

Who else are you gonna call five times a day just to catch up on things that you've missed the past hour or so? Realistically, this friend is your soulmate. Sure, soulmates are usually considered your girlfriend or boyfriend, but not in this case.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
