Students everywhere are counting down the days until a stress-free week of relaxation, butts in the sand, drinks in hand, and being surrounded by good company. With only a week left until Spring Break, there is still one daunting thought that crosses every twenty-something year old's mind -- the dreadful packing.
If you're going somewhere tropical, don't sweat! (Literally, pack hygiene products to help you freshen up in the warm and sticky weather). The complete list to packing for the ultimate tropical Spring Break list is here!
1. Beach Bag: You can store many smaller items in here and use this as your carry on! Keeping essentials in here, or a few outfits is always a good idea in case your luggage gets lost.
2. Sunglasses: I recommend a cheap pair, so the oils from your sunscreen and the salt from the water doesn't ruin them.
3. Sunscreen: You don't want your pasty white winter legs to get burned -- looking and feeling like a lobster makes for a very long day.
4. Bathing Suit(s): Always pack a few suits for options just in case the one you wanted to wear was wet.
5. Toiletries: All the way from shampoo and conditioner, to a toothbrush and toothpaste, you do not want to forget any personal hygiene products to help you keep clean and fresh throughout the day!
6. Clothes: Of course you can't forget these! A few pairs of shorts, some dresses, and a few short sleeve shirts will do the trick. Bring a pair of pants too just in case the weather gets a little chilly at night.
7. Comfortable Shoes: Sandals are a must, (especially because your feet have been trapped for months), but bring sneakers as well for the days that you will be doing a lot of walking. Comfort is key!
8. Beach Towel: Optional, but highly suggested if you don't want sandy buns!
9. Hat: The floppier the hat, the better. Although any hat will do, make sure the hat you bring will cover your face -- you do not want to have a burnt nose.
10. I.D: If you are traveling out of the country, your passport is required. However, if you are staying within the United States, a license will do just fine. Plus, you need your I.D. to order tropical drinks!
Nothing would be more awful than to arrive at your destination and not have your luggage or realize you forgot to pack something. With this complete list of items to pack, you are sure to have the ultimate tropical vacation. See ya at the beach!
