Summer has arrived! Warm summer days and those long summer nights are here to stay... Well, for two months, anyway. We all expect summer to be amazing and full of adventure every day, but of course, it doesn't always happen that way. If you live in a small town usually there is a limited amount of things to do during summer. I come from a small town so I know a thing or two about improvising and finding things to entertain myself with. So, if you're sitting around not sure what to do on a warm summer day or night, here are seven things to do for fun during the summer.

1. Have a bonfire

This is a great thing to do during a warm summer night. This is easiest to do when someone has a fire pit. To add to the bonfire you can also get some supplies to make s'mores.

2. Take a day trip to a lake

If you have a lake somewhere close to your town or even in your town, gather up some friends or family, make some snacks, and enjoy a day fishing at the lake.

3. Go to a drive-in

A drive-in movie is usually cheap and a good time. Not only do you get to enjoy the summer weather, but you also get to enjoy a good movie

4. Go to a baseball game

This doesn't have to be a professional baseball game. You can enjoy a local baseball game while eating some seeds and getting a nice tan.

5. Have a water balloon fight

Get your friends together at a park with tons of water balloons and have an epic water balloon. It's an easy and cheap way to cool off in the summer

6. Make a slip n slide

This only takes a tarp and some soap and water. You can easily lay out the tarp in your backyard. Another easy way to cool off in the summer.

7. Have a summer BBQ

This is a pretty obvious thing to do during the summer. Nothing like having a BBQ in the summer enjoying some good food and good company.
