"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
-Albus Dumbledore

Happiness is one of the best emotions a person can feel and different things make different people happy. Throughout the hectic and stressful months of college, it is always important to find a little time for yourself and do something that makes you happy. Even amidst the obstacles you might face during your college years, happiness and laughter can always be found, even in the simplest of things. Below is a list of 7 seemingly small things that make college students happy.
1. Your phone.
And all the nifty things you can do with it. Surfing through your many phone apps is always a good option to unwind with after a hectic day and "de-stress."
2. Your friends.
The crazy adventures, hilarious convos, and amazing memories you have with friends always livens up life.
3. That extra nap or getting to sleep in.
A short nap can make the biggest difference in the world and in your emotions or attitude throughout the day. And getting to sleep in? Even better.
4. A cancelled class or rescheduled exam.
A cancelled class equals more time to sleep, which is always something to look forward to for the typical sleep-deprived college student, and a rescheduled exam means--you guessed it--more time to sleep. There's never too much time to sleep.
5. A random hello or smile from a stranger.
And by "stranger" I don't mean the creepy guy from across the street. A simple hello or smile from a classmate or acquaintance can brighten up anyone's day.
6. New episode or season of your favorite TV show.
Something to look forward to during a stressful, busy, or otherwise boring week.
7. Daily dose of coffee or tea.
Being a college student requires drinking large (and usually unhealthy) quantities of coffee or tea and this little (but great) action can make anyone's day a little more sweet.
