Family may very well be the most important part of your life, and if you have more family members than others, then you may be even more lucky. Having a big family may mean that you have twice the amount of love and support that you need. When it comes to family, you don't get to choose who you get, so you're stuck on this ride of life with them, and having even more people to call your family may be the best thing that has happened to you. Here are a few sure telling signs that you have a family larger than the rest.
1. It always seems as if there is a family event going on.
Whether it's someone's birthday or some sort of holiday (even if it's not universally known), your family is celebrating; and boy are those parties huge!
2. You start to wonder if you could be related to your friends/anyone you see.
You have so many cousins that it's hard to keep track; and it seems you always have a friend who knows someone else in your family, because it is just that big. Wait, can I like that guy? Or are we related?
3. You probably have a family member or two close to your age.
Having such a big family, someone was bound to have a baby at the same time your parents did, so you've always had someone to hangout with at those big family parties.
4. Your cousins are more like siblings.
You find yourself wishing your cousins were at every event because you've been close since birth. You both have to endure your crazy family, so you have a lot to talk about and it makes you be just like best friends/siblings.
5. You don't know how many family members you actually have.
Well, I think Uncle Dan has... five kids? No, six. Oh and there's Aunt Sue, yeah she probably has seven kids by now. So we are at about five hundred family members just on Mom's side? That can't be right....
6. If you were in trouble, you'd have plenty of help.
God didn't make those cousins bigger than the others for nothing; they've got your back in any situation, and they know that you have theirs too.
7. You'll always have a place to call home.
It doesn't matter where you are, if you're with family, you're right where you belong; and having a big family makes that home have so much more room.
