As a woman, I have noticed how much our actions resemble those of a cat. Below are 7 humorous reasons cats and women resemble each other.
1. We get angry at a moment's notice.
Have you ever been petting a cat and for no reason at all, it strikes you with its claws? Women are pretty much the same way. You may not have done anything at all, but we are going to be mad about it regardless.
2. We cannot make up our minds.
Cats are horrible at making up their minds. One minute they want to be petted, and the next they want to go outside to chase mice. Women also cannot make up their minds most of the time. Oh, you want to go to a simple dinner? Lets sit here and make a pro/con list about each restaurant before going to eat.
3. We need your attention right now.
Cats are horribly impatient when it comes to needing attention. If you're reading something, a cat will have no problem blocking your laptop from your view, forcing you to pet them. Much like cats, women want your attention 24/7, no matter what you are doing. Sorry if you are trying to read, but we need to tell you about this new purse we bought right now.
4. Put three cats in a room, one will come out dead.
Most cats do not get along with each other. In fact, I once witnessed my cat push a kitten down the stairs just for fun. If you put three women in a room, there is bound to be some drama. And you know what they say, women are better in even numbers than they are in odd ones. One woman is always feeling left out or pushed aside.
5. Our fights are both confusing and entertaining.
It is the middle of the night, and you wake up to hear two cats screaming on your street. You look out the window to see they have started hitting each other back and forth. There is the reason fights between two women have become known as "cat fights." We scream at each other, pull each other's hair, and claw at each other. While entertaining to watch, no one really can put a finger on why the fight started in the first place.
6. We will always remember that one time you messed up with us.
One time, I had a friend that poured water on my cat because he thought it was funny. The next time he came over, my cat peed on his shoes for payback. Much like how my cat held a grudge against my friend, women will do the same thing. Remember that one time you did not clean all the dishes in the sink? We will remember and bring it up two months later when it is no longer relevant.
7. We are picky about what we eat.
Cats can love the food you buy them one day, but stick their noses up to it the next. Now, while all women are not picky eaters (I'll pretty much eat anything), we do have particular types of food we like. Sometimes we are even particular about where the food comes from.
While cats are not everyone's favorite, they can be loyal pets that much of America enjoys keeping around. Remember ladies, cats rule and dogs drool.
