I'm someone who always tries to see the good in everything, therefore I believe there's something to love about every season. Although I have horrendous allergies in the Spring, I'm still enamored by all the flowers and beauty surrounding me (actually my favorite season). Summer is a close favorite as well with school being out and whatnot. And I have nothing against Winter - it's a lovely, magical time of year in its own unique way. However, when it comes to the fall I can't think of anything I don't love about this season.
1. Temperatures are finally dropping.
In Texas, you can definitely appreciate these fall mornings with temperatures beginning in the low 60's rather than the high 80's. It finally doesn't feel as if you're walking out in a sauna all day! There's a nice balance between too hot and too cold.
2. It's Football night every week.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights you can look forward to watching your favorite teams play. There's something about being in the stands, singing along with the marching band and cheering on with your closest friends. But even if it's watching live football on TV from the comfort of your own home, football season with your family and loved ones is truly something special.
3. Pumpkin Spice Lattes all day, every day.
While I was in line at Starbucks the other day and saw that Pumpkin Spice Lattes were back in stock, I internally screamed. There's no shame in being basic for PSLs. Those things are delicious! Don't miss out on getting your seasonal pumpkin spice fix.
4. The days of having to frequently shave your legs are over.
Wearing shorts is great and all when it's summer and you're trying to let the sweat in between your legs breathe, but tell me you don't get tired of having to shave your legs all the time? You get to save so much time not shaving your legs during the fall, it's great.
5. You get to wear fashionable, comfy clothing.
I love fall fashion. In exchange for putting your shorts away, you get to pull out all the scarves, sweaters, hoodies, flannels, leggings and boots that have been waiting for you in your closet.
6. Also guys with beanies.
I don't know if I'm emotionally stable for this tbh. Is it the charm they show of having their hair pushed back in the form of a hat? Or is it because the beanie highlights the facial hair on their body. I really don't know. But guys with beanies, wow yeah.
7. Don't forget about Halloween AND Thanksgiving.
You get to celebrate two awesome holidays! For Halloween, you can do fun things such as go to the pumpkin patch, go trick or treating (you're never too old) and dress up in your favorite costume. Whereas for Thanksgiving, you'll get to eat tons of food (yaasss Turkey for days) with your family and friends and be thankful for this season bringing you all together.
