Disclaimer: I am not a nudist. So all you nudists, please put your clothes back on right now, I’d prefer a clothed audience. Clothes are great, but that doesn't mean there aren’t some aspects of clothes that just suck. Here are a few reasons that I hate clothes:
1. It’s uncomfortable.
Clothes can oftentimes just feel uncomfortable. They make you feel too hot or too cold, maybe something is on too tight or too loose. Just cut out all the discomfort.
2. There’s the pressure to match/look cool.
Society puts so much pressure on people to look good. Outfits need to match, you need to fit in and dress like the popular individuals. It certainly would be so much less difficult to just not have any clothes.
3. You have to wash clothes.
Clothes get dirty, it’s a fact of life. As such, you have to waste time and money to wash your clothes, which is horribly inconvenient.
4. You have to constantly buy new clothes.
Not only do clothes get dirty, but they wear out as well. We have to constantly replenish our wardrobe, wasting time to search for clothes and wasting even more money in purchasing the right clothes that’ll help us fit in. Clothes-less is the cost efficient way to go.
5. Clothes get in the way of every day life.
As we go about our day, clothes always have a knack for getting caught on objects, getting in the way of our productivity. It’s not natural to keep track of where our clothes are spatially as we move about. You can't get your clothes stuck if there aren't any clothes to get stuck.
6. Wearing clothes makes you more flammable.
Clothes get in our way, it’s a fact of life. It’s even more in our way if we get near any open flame. The looseness of clothes puts us at even more danger of catching on fire, which is certainly not fun.
7. Adam and Eve didn’t wear any clothes.
Throwing it way back in time for another reason why I hate clothes, Adam and Eve didn’t have to wear any. They didn't have to worry about any of these other reasons that I’ve brought up for why clothes are just downright frustrating.
