One of my all time favorite TV shows is "Once Upon A Time." Growing up I was obsessed with all things Disney, so knowing that all my favorite Disney stories, characters, and even villains were brought to life in a more mature series was almost a miracle. There are so many reasons to love this show, and if you don't already watch it, maybe I can convince you.

1. The Evil Queen

The Evil Queen from the extremely well known story of "Snow White and The Seven Dwarves" is played by the AH-MAZING Lana Parilla. Although she is intact the evil queen, us "Once" fans know her by Regina, and watching her grow as a character, person, and mother has been one of the best parts of the series. You'll grow to love her, if you don't already.

2. The back stories

Not only does "Once Upon A Time" include the well known and famous Disney stories, but it also dives into the parts of the stories Walt left untold. We get to see what made the Evil Queen evil, how Prince Charming becomes Prince Charming, what happens after Elsa and Anna defrost Arendelle, who the Big Bad Wolf really is, and so much more. It made me love the characters that much more, and I'm sure you will too!

3. Captain Hook

Okay, I know what you're thinking. "Ew Captain Hook with his ugly wig, giant nose, and weird mustache." Let me tell you, YOU ARE WRONG. Not only is his backstory amazing, he is a devastatingly good looking man.

4. The title screen

This is probably one of my favorite parts of watching this show. Every episode has a different title screen that relates to what the episode is about. Episode about giants? Throw in a golden goose or even a giant leg in the middle of the screen. I love the attention to detail, and the little hint it gives us to the episode's story line.

5. The yellow bug

One of the main characters, Emma Swan, drives a BEAUTIFUL yellow, classic, beetle. Yes, one of the reasons I watch this show is because I'm jealous of the car. Judge me, I don't care.

6. New characters and stories

Every new season introduces new characters from our beloved Disney movies and shows, and their back stories, problems, and relationships along with them. "Once Upon A Time" keeps you on your toes, because you never know who is going to pop up and either save the day or try and ruin it.

7. The love stories

I loved seeing the Disney love stories and romances come to life with actors, and well, real life problems like cheating, taxes, having a kid, finding your kid, being a murderous psychopath bent on being the most powerful person in the world, and buying a house.

These are just a few of many reasons as to why you should love this show, if you do not already! If you haven't already started to binge watch it on Netflix, I totally recommend doing so.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
