Oh pizza. Sweet, wonderful, fantastic pizza. Not only is pizza my favorite food but it is also single-handedly the best food to ever grace this planet. Here’s why:

1. It’s Perfect Any Time of Day/ Hot or Cold

Seriously. You can have pizza for any meal. Whether it’s a day old and you pull it out of the fridge as a quick breakfast, at lunch with friends or on a dinner date. Pizza is always a safe bet because it always tastes amazing. Which brings me to my next point, pizza is perfect hot or cold. You don’t always have to eat it fresh out the oven or sitting down at a restaurant. In fact, some of the best pizza I’ve had was pizza that I completely forgot about and rediscovered the next day in my fridge only to consume it immediately on my kitchen floor. (sound familiar?)

2. It’s an International Food

Pizza is the ultimate safe order food because no matter where you go in the world, you can find somewhere that sells pizza. Granted it might not look like what you’re used and it may be eaten differently but trust me when I say IT STILL TASTES FANTASTIC. So travel to your heart’s desire, and be sure to order pizza wherever you go.

3. You Can Make it Yourself

You don’t even need to be an expert chef to make pizza. If you have some kind of bread, cheese, sauce and an oven you’re good to go.

4. So Many Choices

That being said, there are so many choices when it comes to pizza. Between toppings, types of crust and types of cheese, the limit does not exist on these possibilities. There’s even a pizza for every diet. Fat-free? Got it. Gluten free? Got it. Vegan? Got it. Extra meat, cheese and stuffed crust? Definitely got that one. You can ask for basically anything on your pizza.

5. Super Cheap and Always Delivers

This one is HUGE. Especially if you’re a broke college student like me, there’s always a pizza place near buy where you can grab a slice for a $1 and continue with your day. This is especially true if you’re stuck at home buried in work and your pizza will very willingly show up at your doorstep. How many friends do you know will willingly do that the second you call them? Pizza is your true friend.

6. Life of the Party

It’s the ultimate party food. Pizza normally doesn’t require utensils so you can grab a slice and keep on moving. I honestly cannot think of a moment in life that can’t be improved by a slice of pizza. Plus, I don’t think anything gets people more excited than hearing’ “The pizza’s here”

7. Won’t Abandon You or Forsake You

Unlike those so called friends of yours, pizza won’t make plans without telling you or abandon you in your times of need. In fact, pizza is always there when you want it to be and understands what you’re going through. Pizza is your best friend.

This world wouldn’t be the fantastic place it is today without pizza. So please, do yourself a favor and go order some pizza. I know I will.
